Professors Marie Pizzorno and Emily Stowe, biology, and three Bucknell students are co-authors on a Phage Hunters program paper published in the April 28 edition of eLife. The paper describes the bacteriophage (bacterial viruses) discovered by the students in the program.
Bucknell University is part of the Science Education Alliance Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES), a consortium of around 70 universities nationwide organized by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
