J.T. Ferrara ’17, a double major in electrical engineering and mathematics, has been accepted into the prestigious Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program for the fall 2016 semester. This program, held in Budapest, Hungary, is for talented North American undergraduates to be immersed in an intensive mathematical experience and study topics not normally available to undergraduates. Last summer, Ferrara participated in a research experience for undergraduates at Louisiana State University and later presented results from his work there at a mathematics conference.
