William Gubing ’98 Featured in Niche Automotive Publication

William Gubing ’98, a graduate of Bucknell University, was recently featured in a niche automotive publication, Automotive News. The piece is part of a section titled “Rising Stars” and it details his work at the Ford Motor Company. Gubing was previously the global chief engineer of the Ford Escape and is currently working as the global chief engineer of an upcoming Ford vehicle. He has also been in charge of the development of well-known Ford models Explorer, Taurus and Lincoln MKS.

Gubing holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell, as well as a master’s degree in engineering management from Dartmouth. His wife, Jessica Purtill Gubing ’99, is also a Bucknell graduate.
