Brigadier General John Kolasheski ’89, a Bucknell University graduate, was recently welcomed as the new Chief of the Armor School at Fort Benning, Ga. Brig. Gen. Kolasheski returns to Fort Benning, where he was previously stationed, after being the deputy commanding general for the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kan. He was deployed three times to Iraq and also served in Afghanistan.
Kolasheski holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bucknell, and also a master’s degree in management for engineering from Central Florida. He also has a master’s in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
