Jesse Klug ’16, a recent graduate of Bucknell University, last month received one of the Patriot League’s highest honors as he was selected as the recipient of the 2016 Patriot League Award of Outstanding Leadership and Character. The award is given annually to one male and one female recipient that participate in Patriot League athletics and also demonstrate excellence in leadership and service. This marks the second straight year that a Bucknell student-athlete garnered the award. Ryan Frazier ’16, a classmate of Klug’s, received the honor in 2015.
Klug graduated in May with a degree in managing for sustainability. He took a job as an education support assistant for Friends of the Children, a nonprofit that works to improve educational outcomes and job opportunities for youth in Seattle, Wash. Klug is a native of Sammamish, Wash., located just outside Seattle.
