Stephanie Houser ’16, a recent Bucknell University graduate, will attend the Engineering a Better World flagship global conference in September at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London. This conference brings engineers from around the world together to highlight the vital importance of engineering for international development.
Houser is one of just two U.S. delegates that the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) selected to attend this conference. The NAE is one of 26 members of the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Science, Inc. (CAETS), which organizes this conference. Houser graduated from Bucknell in May with a degree in civil engineering and international relations, and is currently a graduate research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in environmental engineering.
