Several members of the Bucknell community, including faculty and students, took part in a volunteer effort last weekend to pick trash out of the Susquehanna River. Professors Ben Marsh, geography, Janet Jones, Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies, and Eric Martin, management, were all referenced in an article documenting the day.
The Lewisburg Neighborhoods Corporation, the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership and the Lewisburg borough jointly organize this annual river cleanup.
