Professor Philip Asare, electrical & computer engineering, Loriana Demirciyan ’20 and Caitlin Mahoney ’19 were part of a team that put together and presented a workshop at the recent Wireless Health Conference 2016, held at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
The Bucknell trio attended the conference with members of the ASSIST engineering research center at North Carolina State. Prof. Asare, along with a colleague from the University of Virginia, co-designed the workshop, which was titled “Prototype to patient treatment: Promoting dialogue on risk, regulation, safety, privacy, security, and social acceptability in biomedical devices.”
