Charles Wilson M’63, a graduate alumnus of Bucknell University, was recently awarded the Frank W. Reinhart Award from ASTM International, an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of products and materials. Wilson received this award in recognition of his contributions to the standardization of terminology for the fastener industry. ASTM International previously honored Wilson in 2001 for contributions to fastener standardization.
Wilson, who is retired from the Industrial Fasteners Institute in Independence, Ohio, holds a master’s degree from Bucknell in mechanical engineering, and a bachelor’s in the same discipline from Case Western Reserve University.
