Zenji Nakazawa ’89, a Bucknell University graduate, was recently appointed to a leadership post at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Nakazawa will serve as the acting public safety officer and consumer protection advisor and he comes to the FCC from the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau, where he served as chief of the policy and rules division.
Nakazawa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Japanese studies (since renamed East Asian studies) from Bucknell, as well as a J.D. from the University of Richmond.
