The academic presses of Bucknell and Rutgers University have joined forces in a move that will bring down the cost of Bucknell’s books. Under the partnership agreement, Rutgers University Press will take over printing, marketing and sales for Bucknell University Press’ books, while Bucknell will maintain its imprint and continue to acquire and edit its books. The two presses specialize in different subject matters and rarely compete. The move is expected to reduce the cost of Bucknell Press books, making them affordable for individuals to purchase.
