John Bruns ’86, a Bucknell University alumnus, was recently named president of Boeing China. Based in Beijing, he will be Boeing’s senior in-country executive. A 30-year veteran of the aviation industry, Bruns will move into his new role after previously serving as vice president, China operations for Boeing. He has held a variety of leadership roles at Boeing since 1997, and he previously worked at McDonnell Douglas prior to its merger with Boeing.
Bruns holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell.
