Final design of the southern section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Thruway is progressing on schedule, although the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that it has encountered acid rock. But Bucknell geology professor Carl Kirby says in this story that the rock formation is not acid as the term implies.
