Bucknell University graduate alumnus Richard L. Scheaffer M’64, professor emeritus of statistics at the University of Florida, was recently featured in Amstat News, the membership magazine of the American Statistical Association (ASA). The Q&A feature is part of a series of interviews with former ASA presidents and executive directors. Scheaffer was the 2001 president of the ASA.
Scheaffer holds a master’s degree from Bucknell. He has his undergraduate degree from Lycoming College and attained his doctorate from Florida State.
