The Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society (POFPS) recently presented the Raymond J. Saloom, D.O., Memorial Award to Christopher Olson, D.O. ’73, a Bucknell University graduate. The award is given to a physician “in recognition of untiring efforts to promote the art of family medicine and preserve the integrity of the osteopathic profession.”
Olson, a local family physician in Shamokin Dam, holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell and a doctorate of medicine degree from Des Moines University.
