Jeffrey Simkins ’13, a graduate of Bucknell University, was recently awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation research fellowship. Currently a doctoral student at Montana State, Simkins will take part in the NSF’s East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute. He will spend most of the summer in Perth, Australia at the University of Western Australia studying whether MRI technology can be used to determine oxygen levels in reverse osmosis membranes.
Simkins holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell.
