Professor Coralynn Davis, women’s & gender studies, was interviewed for this feature story on women in the Maithil region of Nepal, and how they are slowly gaining more independence from their traditional roles. Davis has been researching women’s rights in this area for many years and will be spending her sabbatical this year in the Maithil region of Northern India continuing this research.
