Professor Scott Meinke, political science, was quoted twice in an article about the five states that are having their presidential primaries today. The article, which also ran in the Toledo Blade, discusses the importance of the Pennsylvania primary, which usually occurs after the nominations have been wrapped up. Professor Meinke comments on both the Democratic primary as well as the potential scenarios for the Republican convention this summer should no candidate receive a majority of delegates following the end of the primary season in June.
