Diana Arndt ’16, a recent graduate of Bucknell University, was recently accepted into the U.S. Peace Corps and will depart for Mozambique on Aug. 30 to begin training as a high school science teacher in the South African nation. She is scheduled to spend two years in Mozambique, which is located on the east coach of Africa to the northeast of South African and just across the Mozambique channel from Madagascar.
Arndt holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bucknell. She is one of several Class of 2016 members to join the Peace Corps or Teach for America. Bucknell ranked No. 14 among small schools on the Peace Corps Top-Volunteer Producing Colleges and Universities list.
