Salary-information provider Payscale.com ranked Bucknell University third on its list of Best Value Liberal Arts Colleges for the second year in a row. The website calculated a 20-year return-on-investment value of $541,000 for a Bucknell education. It reached that figure by calculating the difference in 20-year earning power of a Bucknell graduate versus a high-school graduate, then subtracting the cost of a Bucknell degree.
One year after graduation, starting salaries for Bucknell’s Class of 2015 averaged $52,164, the highest of any graduating class in Bucknell history.
