Ronald Liebowitz ’79 Named President at Brandeis University

Ronald Liebowitz ’79 was recently named the new president at Brandeis University. Liebowitz, who was honored by the Bucknell Alumni Association in 2014 with the “Achievement in a Chosen Profession” award, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and geography from Bucknell, as well as a doctorate in geography from Columbia. He had been the president of Middlebury College since 2004 and is on sabbatical this year while working on a research project.
