The second annual Dance Marathon, held on Nov. 7 in Davis Gym, raised over $20,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. Hundreds of Bucknell students danced in the marathon, which generated $20,877, surpassing the approximate $14,000 that was raised in the first year of the event in 2014.
The Dance Marathon was sponsored by the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. The funds raised will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
