Katie Oliver ’91 Transitions from Successful Attorney to County Judge

Katie Oliver ’91 was recently elected as a judge on the Centre County (PA) Court of Common Pleas. She is just the second woman ever elected judge in Centre County, and a story about her transition from attorney to judge was recently featured on StateCollege.com.

Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Bucknell in addition to her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. Since 1995, she was an attorney for the McQuaide Blasko law firm in State College up until her election as judge in November.
