Bucknell University graduate Scott Charles ’96 was recently appointed Chief Financial Officer of POZEN, Inc., a pharmaceutical company based in Chapel Hill, N.C. He is slated to become the CFO of the new Aralez Pharmaceuticals upon completion of the pending merger of POZEN with Tribute Pharmaceuticals.
Charles previously held leadership roles at Ikaria, Inc., a critical care pharmaceutical company based in Hampton, N.J. and at Reliant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. prior to it being sold to GlaxoSmithKline in 2007, a transaction in which he played a large role. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from Bucknell.
