Howard Heitner ’76, a Bucknell University alumnus, recently joined LaTerra Development as its chief operating officer. Based in Beverly Hills, Calif., LaTerra is an investor and developer of urban mixed-use infill properties.
Heitner came to LaTerra after five years as president of JRK Residential America. He previously served as COO at SunAmerica for the company’s affordable housing subsidiary and practiced law for nearly 20 years at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell as well as an MBA and JD from the University of Chicago.
