Steve Hoerter ’91, a graduate of Bucknell University, has been appointed to the newly-created position of chief commercial officer at Agios Pharmaceuticals, a leader in investigational medicines in the fields of cancer metabolism and rare genetic metabolic disorders.
Hoerter comes to Agios from Clovis Oncology, Inc., where he was executive vice president and chief commercial officer. He also previously held senior leadership roles at Genentech and Roche. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell in political science and Russian Studies. He also has an MBA from Tilburg University and an M.S. in management from Purdue.
