John Burns ’86, a Bucknell University graduate, recently joined Matrix New World Engineering at its national industrial water treatment director. Burns comes to Matrix, which is an engineering and environmental services firm, as it looks to expand its industrial services group that focuses on water and wastewater services, primarily for clients in the food and beverage industry. Burns previously worked at PepsiCo Beverage, where he oversaw the corporate environmental management systems (EMS) at 42 plants and 300 satellite warehouses.
Burns holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Bucknell.
