Grace Shelton ’84 Takes Office as U.S. Consul General in Karachi, Pakistan

Grace Shelton ’84, a Bucknell University graduate, recently assumed charge as the U.S. Consul General in Karachi, Pakistan. She most recently was the director of the Office of Central Asian Affairs in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, and also was previously the Consul General in Hamilton, Bermuda. She has also had assignments in Slovenia, Nepal, Belarus, Malaysia and Washington, D.C.

Shelton has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell, as well as master’s and juris doctorate degrees from Columbia.
