Bucknell Intern to Spend Year with Mount Carmel Library Projects

Leah Murphy ’17 is spending this academic year working at an intern for the Bucknell place studies program. As a big part of her internship duties, she is working with the Mount Carmel public library to help it find grants to help fund the library’s several ongoing projects. The story of her work is featured in a recent article in the News-Item.

Murphy is an English – literary studies major. Interestingly, the librarian at the Mount Carmel library that Murphy is working with on this project, Vivian McCracken ’88, is a Bucknell alumna.
