Kenneth Schutz ’76 Appointed to National Museum and Library Services Board

President Barack Obama recently announced the appointment of Kenneth J. Schutz ’76, a Bucknell University graduate, to the National Museum and Library Services Board, an administration post. Schutz is the Dr. William Huizingh Executive Director of the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Ariz., a position he has served in since 2001. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of the Science Museum of Western Virginia.

Schutz holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell, a master’s degree in education from Johns Hopkins and an MBA from Virginia.
