In December, Bucknell University President John Bravman was named the chair of the Geisinger Health System Board of Directors. The top of the Geisinger board will have another Bucknell connection as Heather Acker ’74, was recently elected its vice chair. Acker, who has been a member of the Geisinger board since 2013, is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Gentex Corporation in Carbondale, Pa.
Acker holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bucknell and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
