Mary Medure ’17 recently committed to join Teach for America (TFA) following her graduation from Bucknell University in the spring. Medure, who will be the first in her family to graduate from college, will teach in North Carolina next year. She is majoring in English and psychology.
TFA is a national program in which recent college graduates commit to teaching for two years in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. Last year, there were 11 members of the Class of 2016 that joined TFA.
