In an essay published by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Bucknell Magazine Editor Sherri Kimmel chronicled a research trip to grave sites and memorials in France and Belgium honoring the Pennsylvania soldiers who fought for freedom in World War I. Kimmel, five Bucknell students and Professor Adrian Mulligan, geography, are taking part in a project led by Professor David del Testa, history, to uncover the lost history of Bucknellians who served in WWI.
