Migrant Talent Wasted Due to Distrust of Overseas Qualifications

A new study has found that highly educated, highly skilled migrants often can’t find good jobs because employers don’t trust their experience. Co-authored by Eddy Ng, professor of organizational behavior, James Cook University and the James and Elizabeth Freeman Chair of Management at Bucknell, the research is featured in this segment and suggests the skills of many migrants are wasted and has recommended that workplaces be required by law to give equal opportunity to migrants.
