DeeAnn Reeder, an ecophysiologist and biology professor at Bucknell and research scientist in South Sudan, said “South Sudan only recently became connected with international markets.” Publishing proof of seizures, she said in this story, is a good step toward “getting South Sudan on a pangolin watch list.”
