Now amid tax-filing season, many people remain uncertain as to how COVID-19 stimulus payments and other relief measures may impact their 2020 returns. Freeman College of Management Professor Stacy Mastrolia, accounting, says in this segment that the stimulus payments are absolutely not taxable since they weren’t income, but rather “pre-distributed credits.”
