The Bucknell Center for Sustainability & the Environment and Matt McMullen ’23, a senior geography major, are featured in this story for working with the Kulpmont and Shamokin to transform vacant lots to “pocket parks” — small sections of land located in an urban area which has been transformed with grass plants for public leisure.
