Four Bucknell Students Participate in National Theatre Scholarship Competition

Nine Bucknell University students from the Department of Theatre & Dance recently attended the regional Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in West Chester, Pa., and four students were selected to compete in the National Irene Ryan Scholarship competition for performers. Emily Mack ’16 and Gabe Calleja ’16 were two of 16 finalists out of 179 competitors from across the region in the performer scholarship competition. Additionally, Brendan Trybus ’18 was one of 10 finalists out of 100 competitors for the National Musical Theatre Initiative competition, and Delaney Clark ’18 was a finalist in the Irene Ryan Acting Partner competition.
