Jet.com, an e-commerce startup company founded by Marc Lore ’93, a Bucknell University alumnus, recently collaborated with the White House, among others, to help lower the price of diapers for low-income families. The new project aims to allow nonprofits to quickly buy diapers in bulk online for distribution to families in need.
Lore, the former CEO of Diapers.com, holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell, where he was an interdepartmental major. His wife, the former Carolyn Sawka ’94, is also a Bucknell graduate.
