Professor Nina Banks, economics, who is also an affiliated faculty member in women’s & gender studies and in critical Black studies at Bucknell, had her Washington Post op-ed and research cited in this story on Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander, who became America’s first Black economist, but due to her race, was never hired as an economist.
